NEED to, CAN do and WANT to...

需要做的, 能做的 和 想做的。

How often in life are we doing something that we need to do, can do and want to do? Very often, it is really more of need than want, whilst whether we can or not is a separate issue.
What will be your choice if there is only one thing you can do?
Will you do something that...
(1) you need to because of some requirement/expectation of the society??
(2) you can do and it is a waste of your talent/chance if you don't??
(3) you want to do simply because you derive happiness out of it??
You might say that if you cannot do it there is no point talking about whether you need to or want to. But the meaning of CAN do here is more for exceptional achievements that not everyone CAN accomplish, given either your special talent/opportunity.
How wonderful would it be if the NEED is something that you CAN and WANT to do.

I have always been aligning the needs to my wants, while 'cannot' hasn't really come into the picture yet...but it seemed to be getting harder and harder to achieve the equilibrium..

L - Changed the World

*Spoilers Alert*
*But it's still worth watching even with spoilers*

"No matter how gifted you are, you cannot change the world alone." - L.

More sendimental and less investigative than expected. But the overall feel is good. =D

Movie really brings people out of reality, even for just few moments.

Nice show.

Beyond All Talents - The Genius of Hardwork

I love to read comics. and i love them for one simple reason - the display of hardwork and peserverence.
For those who read the manga NARUTO, the character Rock Lee is basically the origin of where i am coming from. Although in the manga he is actually talented in Taijitsu in a way, but i believe the true essence of the character Rock Lee in NARUTO is simply the display of his relentless effort in training all day all night, knowing that he is simply not as "talented" as many other ninjas. The most touching moment, i feel, is none other that his battle with Gaara, who is almost the symbol of pure talent (at that point in the manga). He lost that battle though, but it has always been 'the battle' that i remember in NARUTO.
Perhaps something closer to reality is "Xiao3 Kong1" from "Lan2 Qiu2 Xiao3 Zi3 . Kong1" A 149cm tall 15 years old boy with undying passion in basketball. Not talented in the way normal people view basketball - height, but makes it up with his accurate 3pts shot, which comes from an amazing amount of practise everyday (1000 shots per day). I guess it is really the way the author drew the comic and organised the plot and characters. And the catchline of the comic is entising - "bu4 yao4 ying1 wei1 wo3 ai3 xiao3 jiu4 xiao3 kan4 wo3" (Dont look down on me simply because i am short)
"It's comics after all", some people may say. But i choose to believe in it, truly. In fact if you really bother to observe, there are really people around you that is displaying this form of talent. They may not be particular outstanding in anyway, but more often than not hardworking people don't attract attention. If you ask me, it actually takes real talent to perservere and continue working hard, especially when you don't see result or when there are people around you that are achieving more with less effort. How demoralising isn't it? But that is why I reckon the diligence as a form of talent, and i believe it is just a matter of time you see result. Like Rock Lee, these people are truly The Genius of Hardwork.

Introduction

There are many things in life that are superficial.
Talent, for one, has always been too closely associated with achievement.
In fact, the display of talent do not always need to be accompanied with successful stories.

BEYOND recognition, regardless of ALL externalities, pure display of TALENTS

That's the intended meaning of beyond all talents.
